Game On! Uses a mentorship approach to provide boys & young men with information and support to make informed choices about a range of healthy lifestyle practices. Through non-traditional physical activities, complemented with healthy eating support, participants are engaged in life skills, communication, and emotional health discussions designed to engage participants in the pursuit of life-long healthy lifestyles. Dunbar Community Centre is looking for reliable youth (aged 14-18 yrs) volunteers to help oversee our Games Room after school. Volunteer shifts will be available M-F (school days only) from 3:45-5:45pm. Shifts will be scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis. Must be available to attend a mandatory orientation session on Friday, September 8th, 3:45-4:45pm at Dunbar CC.

The Special Events Youth Group engages in local community events with support from the Community Youth Worker. Dec 9 (Saturdays). Volunteer hours will be awarded at the last meeting.

Learn about business by joining a JA Company with others like you, and try it out for yourself. It’s fun and challenging! With help from JA’s business advisors and your own ideas, you will work with other program participants
to plan your business, build a company, and market a product. Along the way you will learn about teamwork, business ethics, and managing money. It’s a great way to explore career opportunities and meet new people. Participants must be in grade 10,11 or 12, and in addition to attending 2.5 hour weekly meetings should be prepared to spend another 2 hours per week working on their JA business. For
