The DCCA is seeking a qualified Professional Fundraiser and a Human Resources Practitioner to join our Board of volunteer Directors. These roles are suitable for a recent retiree, consultant or someone who wants a great resume builder. You’ll have plenty of engaging, networking opportunities with civic officials, senior staff and diverse, professional members of society, from engineers to accountants, teachers, lawyers and marketing/communication experts.

Come by the centre to grab your own free Family Day Comic Kit. Includes supplies needed to make your own comics. Guides for story building, character building and layouts have been provided by Cloudscape Comics. Please only register for one kit per family. Pickup your kit at the community centre between Feb 11-13, 9am-5pm. Register in advance to guarantee your kit, supplies are limited. Post and share your creations! Use the hashtag #bcfamilyday on Instagram, and tag @dunbarcomcentre and @cloudscapecomics.

The DCCA would like to extend its thanks to our holiday elves, staff and community sponsors for helping make the festive hamper delivery a success. Seniors in Dunbar were treated to a festive holiday hamper, beautiful plant and a DCCA reusable tote bag. Thank you to Thomas Hobbs for providing us a generous discount on the plants.
